Motorola Teases Moto 360 in Video; Listing Tips 2 Different Variants

Motorola could be preparing to launch two new versions of the Moto 360 smartwatch if regulatory documents filed to Brazilian telecoms agency Anatel are to be believed. The handset will also be released as a fully unlocked device, meaning it will work on major U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

The Moto X Style is Motorola’s new top of the line smartphone with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display (515 ppi) and a body built from machined aluminium. Motorola has ensured it keeps the overhead expenses low by adopting a direct-to-consumer approach for the Moto X Pure Edition.

Android Community has claimed the next Moto 360 will come with a 1.56-inch LCD screen. But this is a different story that we will cover when more details will be available. The images weren’t great, but they were clearly showing new hardware as they featured a relocated hardware button, visible lugs on the watch and two distinct sizes.

Vodafone will offer Motorola’s two upcoming flagships on its postpaid plans, the Moto X Style and the Moto Play. Certainly this would address one concern of the Moto 360, and other Android Wear devices, that being there were limited choices for those who wanted a smaller device.

Users can customize their phones as per their preferences since the Moto X Style features the Motto Maker Program.

Motorola is making sure that the Moto X will last long in a single charge and powering it up bring utmost convenience to users. Motorola has given it a starting price of $399.99 and it will be available this fall. A few more bits of awesomeness include 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 808 processor and a 21 megapixel camera.

The most striking difference is the way the band connects to the watch. It is rumored that the Moto 360S will have a 270mAh power pack, while the bigger 360L will use a 375mAh one. These are not bloatware or utilities that you want to remove, but functional enhancements that take the Moto X to the next level.
