Motorola is all set to launch its much expected smart watch, the Moto 360 in India today, i.e., Dec 1.

Originally announced at the IFA 2015 in Berlin earlier this year, the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) sports an LCD panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Motorola has provided a gyroscope, ambient light sensor and a heart rate sensor on the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) to deliver some smart features and there are proprietary Live Dials to offer an advanced smartwatch functionality.

You can select Moto 360 from two case sizes – a 46mm design or 42mm and different materials like horween leather and aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel.

Other changes on the new 2015 Moto 360 include the button being shifted to the 2 o’clock position, while colour options now include gold, shiny chrome and metallic black finishes. The new watch tracks your heart rate and the calories you burn. Both the variants support 20mm and 22mm watch bands.

The smartwatch comes with IP67 certification making it resistant to dust and water. And for women, there’s a 42mm variant that comes with a 16mm watch band.

The device comes in tow models, a 42mm version which has a 1.37 inch display with a resolution of 360 x 325 pixels and a 46mm version which has a 1.56 inch display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which comes paired with Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 450MHz. On the software front, it runs on Android Wear and is compatible with Android smartphones as well as limited compatibility with the iPhone.

The 42mm variant of the Moto 360 (2015) comes with a 300mAh battery, while the 46mm variant uses a larger 400mAh battery.
