Mountune Ford Focus RS boosted to 370bhp
Available now in the United Kingdom, where it’s priced at £899 ($A1500)), the power kit joins Mountune’s other factory-backed performance-boosting options already available for the Focus RS. It also cuts two-tenths off the 0-100km/h time, for a 4.2-second sprint. However, Mountune’s kit stands out because it can be installed by any authorized Ford dealership, and it doesn’t void the Focus RS’ warranty.

There aren’t any more 2016 models of the Ford Focus RS left for United States buyers to get their hands on, so they would have to wait until next year’s refresh arrives at the end of this year – provided they could get one in time.
Following a 90-minute wait, warranty-backed Mountune alterations include a new high-flow air filter, alloy crossover duct with silicone hoses, upgraded air re-circulation valve and retuned ECU.
Equipped with the Ford Performance by Mountune power upgrade that is available in selected European markets and priced £899 for customers in the United Kingdom, the Ford Focus RS achieves improved 0-62 miles per hour acceleration in 4.5 seconds – faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera with manual transmission costing more than double the Focus RS list price.
The Focus RS 266km/h top speed remains unaffected by the power kit.

Ford has received more than 4,600 United Kingdom orders for the Focus RS since last September. The overboost function is available for 12 seconds at a time, which is more than enough to get a Mountune-modified Focus RS to 62 miles per hour.
