Mourinho Brands £50000 FA Fine A Disgrace
The Baggies boss has warned that managers will become increasingly reticent during television interviews if fines such as the £50,000 handed to Jose Mourinho this week continue.

‘I don’t know how to stop unfair stories but we are not anxious, ‘ Mourinho said.
“I have four solutions: I have Azpilicueta, I have the adaptation of Zouma or Ramires and I have Ola Aina, an 18-year-old who has never played a Premier League game but he’s a boy with lots of potential”.
Mourinho made it clear on Thursday that he was angry with the FA’s ruling, and complained that he was treated differently to his Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger. “I don’t know, I don’t think so”, he said at a launch for his new book, Mourinho. No one at Chelsea is happy with our current position but I would prefer to be here now than at the end of the season. “I think you, the media, should look at it. You should analyse what is happening with me, compare with other managers”. A £50,000 fine is an absolute disgrace and the possibility of a stadium ban is absolutely astonishing.
“What concerns me most, given the work I’m doing for the FA, is the impact Mourinho’s behaviour may have throughout the whole game”.
“I understand you are a critic”.
The former Real Madrid boss claimed that officials were “afraid” to award his side penalties following their loss to the Saints at Stamford Bridge, a result which left the west London club 10 points behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League.
The Portuguese admits playing at the champions’ Stamford Bridge home is a less daunting than it once was.
“It’s more important for the football in this country – a word, than [an] aggression”.
“So it’s normal that confidence levels and belief in getting a good result are higher for visiting teams”.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is under tremendous pressure to after a dismal start to the season.
“So the only good thing of this last decision by the FA is that every manager in this country can write in a little book and, when he goes to the press conference, he knows that “afraid” costs pounds 50,000″.
“But the reality now, today, tomorrow before the game starts is the reality of the numbers and the numbers are very cruel, but objective and we need points”.

Faced with a challenging run of fixtures over the next month, Saturday’s fixture at home to the beleaguered Aston Villa, whose own manager Tim Sherwood is widely tipped to be next for the chop, could be the only opportunity Mourinho and his players get to find a few much needed momentum.
