Mourinho Confirm Chelsea Have Lost Fear Factor
Pressure is mounting on Jose Moutinho’s shoulders after a 3-1 home loss to Southampton before the global break with the defeat leaving them way down in sixteenth position in the table.

“In the beginning of the season I said that this championship is so risky that, two years ago, Manchester United were out of the top four”.
“The difference is £50,000 and one-match stadium ban”, he said.
But it adds: “It is not thought Mourinho’s reaction will receive any further punishment from the FA or that he is in danger of invoking a stadium ban”.
Mourinho also continued his long-running verbal battle with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
He cited Wenger’s comments after Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea last month, where Wenger referred to referee Mike Dean as “weak” and “naive”, but evaded punishment.
Wenger also escaped punishment for pushing Mourinho in the Stamford Bridge technical area in October 2014, something which still grates with the Chelsea boss.
Mourinho however states that he will appeal the decision.
“Diego Costa said if you ask every player in the world, they will all answer the same: That they’d like to work with three managers and one of them is me”.
“We are dealing with our problems on the training ground as a group. I think it’s not far from that”, said Mourinho, who was speaking at an event in London to promote his book MOURINHO yesterday. “Other than I disagree totally”. Do you think a word is comparable with a push in the eyes of everyone?
He has, this week, labelled this disciplinary action as a “disgrace”, also saying: “I’m happy I don’t have an electronic tag”.
Last month Mourinho was cleared by the FA of making discriminatory comments to former club doctor Eva Carneiro.
Mourinho has convinced himself that he is protected by his four-year contract and insists he still has the total support of the Chelsea board following their disastrous start.
But Mourinho says he will not be sacked even if Chelsea are adrift in the race for the top four.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that they have lost their fear factors which has given sides the confidence to play them.
But the Portuguese believes that Roman Abramovich’s attitude has changed since then and has faith that he will remain in charge even if Chelsea finish the season in mid-table.
Whereas the Evening Standard “understand” that “several of the Chelsea players have become unsettled at Mourinho’s public criticism of the squad’s performances this term”.
