Mourinho criticizes FA over fine and suspended stadium ban
The Chelsea manager was recently given a suspended one game ban and fined £50,000 following his comment about the referee after their home loss to Southampton.

The Portuguese believes the punishment to be unjust after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger escaped any action whatsoever for calling referee Mike Dean “weak” and “naive” after the game between the two clubs last month.
The 52-year-old Mourinho, whose book chronicles in pictures his 15 years in management, said: “I’m in the middle (of my career): I did 15, I have 15 more to do”.
“I am happy I don’t have an electronic tag. And I think that the possibility of getting a stadium ban is also something -absolutely astonishing”.
“But more hard for me to understand is when I compare different people with different behaviours or with similar behaviours, with different words or with similar words”.
The Chelsea vice-captain has endured a forgettable start to the season after having made a number of high-profile mistakes which have cost the defending Premier League champions points. But to say the referee was “weak and naive”, referring to one of the top referees, not just in this country, also in Europe, to call him “weak and naive” we can do. Galvanising this jaded group of players will be an almighty ask, but given that he’s revered as one of the best managers in world football, it’s not something that should be beyond a man of Jose’s skill set. It is unlikely that I would stay at Chelsea for the next 15 years because the modern game simply wouldn’t let me do this.
12 of the 23 teams to be 16th after eight Premier League games (as Chelsea are now) have been relegated, while no side has finished higher than fifth (Everton 2008/09).
Mourinho says he brought up the prospect of his sacking – he broached it in a seven-minute monologue in a live television interview – in anticipation of the question coming.
“I’d love the FA to be transparent and tell us which bank it’s put in and how it’s spent”. “Weak and naïve”, you can use.
Mourinho insists there is no “squad mutiny” at Chelsea, joking that those who don’t like his regime will not play for the club.
“And this year somebody will be out of the top four”, Mourinho. I think it’s not far from (that).
“I know what made me sign a new contract, and the reasons why the owner and the board chose to give me a new contract”.
“I don’t care really”.
“We get the passion, we get the emotion, we get that managers want to blow off a few steam – we’re not for blocking their comment”, he said.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is confident that even if his side were to finish in mid-table this season his job is safe.
