Mourinho drops major Pogba to Man United hint
Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at rival bosses Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp over comments made in relation to the transfer value of Manchester United target Paul Pogba.

“He is a Juve player until officially he isn’t”.
Mourinho was keen to stress that his own philosophy was simply “different” to van Gaal’s rather than better, and he admitted that fans will have to be patient before they see the work he is doing with the squad.
“We have 22 and we are going to have 23”, The Telegraph quote the coach as saying.
“When he left, I said, ‘Why are you leaving?’ He said, ‘I want to be the best player in the world.’ Those were his words to me, and he’s on the right track”. All the Portuguese manager was waiting for was one more player, and now he has got it. For me, every trophy is very serious. All that matters is what happens in my house and not in my neighbours’ house.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has dismissed talks of identifying a Paul Pogba replacement and said he expected the French midfielder to return to training tomorrow.
“We made decisions. We chose to bring four players, not 10, that are Man United level and that we think can really improve the squad and not just be one more”.
“I arrived late. I signed in May, we started talking a week before, but completely out of the process”.
United are thought to have all but concluded a deal to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford from Juventus, with Jose Mourinho hinting that the Red Devils will announce their fourth summer signing in the coming days. “We chose to bring in four players, not 10; we made a decision to bring four that are Man United level”. Normally you are going to play the Premier League on the Sundays. I don’t want to go through that spell again. For two years they had some principles of play that are not my principles clearly. There are things in their brain that are automatic and that is hard to change.

But Mourinho said he “did not like” his colleagues’ “unethical” criticism, while also defending his treatment of Bastian Schweinsteiger. So we try to give balance.
