The 23-year-old, who developed into a world-class player at Juventus, revealed that his mother told him he would one day return to Old Trafford.
The video features the two in Adidas t-shirts – Stormzy is very clearly wearing a Manchester United away shirt with Pogba written on the back and Pogba is dressed in a shirt similar to the away kit colours.
“He made comments about us but I don’t comment about him”. Asked if the player seemed happy to be back in Manchester, Mourinho replied: “I can feel that when I speak with him for the first time”. You look at the modern-day game, and there aren’t many players who can do that and he definitely can.
“It will be good to see how he fits into the team”.
Manchester United will pay approximately $116 million for the French midfielder, who passes Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo as the world’s most expensive player. “That’s why we may have crossed the £100m bar for the first time”.
“Juventus will always be a part of me and I will always miss, love and be grateful to the club, the team and especially the supporters”.
“He has the chance to be at the heart of this club for the next decade and beyond”, said Mourinho.
“Given the wealth of the @premierleague more of the greats will come here and not just to Barca and Real Madrid”.
But the Premier League’s longest-serving boss was adamant that the buying power of big teams is getting out of control, and that players are now way overpriced.

While Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool have all gone on big spending sprees this summer, Arsenal’s transfer window has been relatively quiet. Chelsea can’t do much worse than a year ago and will be aided by the fact Eden Hazard seems to have decided he wants to play soccer again under new coach Antonio Conte. “I spoke with (Alvaro) Morata, (Raphael) Varane – and they all told me that he is a coach for me, he will make me improve a lot, because he makes you work harder”.
