Mourinho: I can’t promise a top-four finish
“In spite of the last season, one to forget, I consider him one of the top managers in the world”. When I was in Germany, Mourinho and I sometimes sent messages.

“Chelsea is not easy”, the German said.
Chelsea must beat Dynamo on Wednesday night or risk falling into the second-tier competition Mourinho has derided so often, despite winning it himself with Porto in 2003. It’s the club that I choose to come (to).
“It is the club that I live in a very specific way in the life of this club but with all the respect Liverpool is a big club, Manchester United is a super big club”. A big game here against Liverpool could be exactly what Chelsea need and it is at home where in general Mourhino’s teams do not lose.
“We are going to try and play as well as we did last season against Liverpool”, he said.
“Two years ago Man United didn’t qualify for the Champions League – not even Europa League – and won nothing. I am not close enough to Chelsea to know the reasons and I am not a journalist so I don’t have to think all day why things are like they are”, he added. What does Mourinho make of the move to replace Brendan Rodgers with Klopp?
The 52-year-old Portuguese had until Thursday at 6pm to respond to a misconduct charge relating to his half-time dismissal by referee Jonathan Moss at West Ham.
Mourinho expects his appeal against a £50,000 fine and suspended one-match stadium ban for comments made about referee Robert Madley following the October 3 loss to Southampton to be heard on Friday.
“I think Chelsea is a big club”.
“I am not optimistic or pessimistic.”
And with another tough clash against Liverpool, on the horizon, Mourinho admitted that a top-four finish could be out of reach.
Both players will be assessed before Blues boss Jose Mourinho names his squad for Saturday’s game at Stamford Bridge.
“With Pedro and Diego we have to wait”, said Mourinho, whose team have won only one of their last seven matches.
“Some details in their tactical approach have obviously changed, this is the nature of the game, especially when you are thinking of two top managers”.
“When you change a top manager for a top manager the level is high, they know what to do”. They had a very good manager.

Under Jurgen Klopp expect to see more youngsters coming through and getting game time, the work rate will also go up and I think the attacking brand of football he was famous for with Borussia Dortmund will shortly start to appear at Anfield, this is a work in progress though so fans need to give him time.
