Mourinho said: “I think it’s a very sad accusation because you are accusing the players, or more than one player – I don’t know what to report – of dishonesty”.

But, speaking ahead of Wednesday’s crucial Champions League game at Stamford Bridge against Ukrainian visitors Dynamo Kiev, Mourinho said his relationship with his players remained “fantastic”.

However, Chelsea captain Terry insists it’s the players – not Mourinho – who must shoulder the blame for their alarming form.

“It’s not what ifs”.

“For me he’s the right man to take this club forward”.

“Will it happen? Who knows, but all I’m saying is Perez thinks it may be a good idea in the future”. Talking in a recent interview about how long he feels he will be at the club, he said, “Four years”.

They are labouring in the Champions League, in which they face Dynamo Kiev tonight, and out of the League Cup.

“I’ve been waiting 11 years for this”.

“He said:” I’ve come under criticism, individually, from certain players and individuals, players I’ve looked up to and played alongside.

“I just saw the shots for the first time with the guys training yesterday and that’s what it is normally like at a club anyway”, Wilkins told Sky Sports News headquarters. We’re talking about the best manager I’ve seen at this club and Eden Hazard is one of the best players.

“I try to be (a better coach) every day”. The first game they played, the substitution of John Terry during the game and other small elements.

“He’s under pressure because of the way we’re performing”, the defender said”. We need to think about our game and not focus on whether they are a wounded animal or not.

“It’s hard for the refs as well, they’re under the spotlight and they’ve got to make quick decisions”.

The Blues boss added: “For my players I do everything. I always did and I am not going to change”.

The 52-year-old was handed a one-match stadium ban and fined 40,000 pounds ($61,640) by the English Football Association (FA) for comments made to the referee during the 2-1 loss to West Ham United on October 24 and is also now appealing a 50,000 pound fine imposed for criticising referees.
