Among them, it’s Mourinho whose record can be considered the best, winning league titles in England, Portugal, Italy and Spain and even the Champions League with Inter Milan and FC Porto. And if the Portuguese joins United next season, it will be the world’s most expensive football managerial rivalry in the world’s most expensive league.
Should El Confidencial’s report be true, this could potentially make Mourinho the highest paid manager in world football.
Reports this week suggest Mourinho is confident he’ll land the role at Old Trafford and has been continuously associated as Man United’s next boss.
