Mourners arrive for funeral of Bobbi Kristina

A hearse carrying the coffin of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, has arrived at a church in suburban Atlanta ahead of a funeral service. After six months of fighting for her life in hospice care, Bobbi Kristina died at the age of 22.

The Newark funeral home that handled services for Whitney Houston three years ago will bring her daughter to rest beside her tomorrow in Westfield. Bobby’s sister apparently screamed at Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and Bobbi Kristina’s co-legal guardian when she began to speak to the young singer’s loved ones, reported Entertainment Tonight.

Houston’s assistant found the singer’s lifeless body face-down in a foot of water in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel just before the Grammy Awards in 2012. Leolah suggested that the feud between the Houstons and the Browns was far from over.

To add fire to the controversy, questions surrounding inheritance of the Houston estate were also underway. However, no conclusive report can claim this. He was released in June after carefully undergoing treatment. Her godmother Dionne Warwick, and Oprah shared their goodbye messages to Bobbi Kristina.

As previously reported by NewsOne, Brown and Etheredge married in 2012 after a two-year engagement. Their tumultuous relationship ended in 2007. The mourners reportedly arrived in a motorcade of limousines, led by police motorcycles. Four men dressed in black suits carried the coffin into the church. A procession of dozens of cars followed. However, not one of them suspected that anything was “off” with Bobbi – or that they should go check in on her after she retired to her bathroom after a huge fight with Nick Gordon. She never regained consciousness after the incident, and her months of medical care exposed family rifts that never seemed to heal.
