Before taking up of the business from the order of the day by Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, who called the house in order at 11.20am, Mr Kumar, Mr Jamote and Mr Khan asked the chair to take up their resolution.

Reiterating his stance as a patriot, Altaf Hussain said that his party would celebrate the occasion of independence (on August 14) with full zeal and zest. “His statements asking for the breakup of Sindh are also strongly condemned”.

In another condemnation resolution against PTI Chairman Imran Khan, it is stated that Imran Khan had also ridiculed and insulted the Pak Army but no institution ever initiated any enquiry against him nor took any action. He complained of the gross attitude of the treasury benches for not providing copies of the resolutions.

“MQM lawmakers should be brought back [in the assemblies] like PTI”, said Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
