But, Rangers were on alert and reached the spot just in time and forced Farooq Sattar and Khuwaja Izhar to sit in Rangers mobile. According to news reports, there was also an exchange of harsh words between Farooq Sattar and ranger personnel.

In an available video, Farooq Sattar has been showed as arguing with rangers to go in his own auto, a request which rangers denied.
Supporters of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, known as the MQM, accuse the media of failing to cover a six-day hunger strike protesting the recent arrest of party members.
The MQM has held sway over Karachi for years and law enforcement agencies, its opponents and many residents have accused it of racketeering, abduction, torture and murder in its bid to maintain power. A Rangers officer then asked Sattar to cooperate with the paramilitary force.
“One was brought (to the hospital) dead, who was shot with a gun”, Dr Seemi Jamali, the director at Jinnah Hospital Hospital said.
Rangers have sealed Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) central secretariat Nine Zero in Karachi s Azizabad neighbourhood on early Tuesday morning, Dunya News reported.

According to police officials, MQM party leader Altaf Hussain instigated the incident after speaking to workers over phone from London. Earlier, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif directed Sindh Rangers Director General Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar to arrest those involved in the attack on ARY News office.
