When news spread about the death of Nancy Reagan, 94, who died in her Los Angeles home Sunday, it was a shock to many and a loss that still cuts deep for some people.

She will be buried alongside Ronald at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.
She never expected to meet his wife, Nancy Reagan, the First Lady.
She met her husband in 1951, and they married in 1952.
One of the 20th century’s most popular presidents, Ronald Reagan, who died in 2004, was nicknamed the “Teflon president” because of his ability to deflect nearly any controversy or criticism.
“I will continue her work in trying to keep kids from the Dangers of Drugs”, he wrote, “GOD Bless You First Lady”.
Gov. Terry Branstad has ordered all flags in Iowa be flown at half-staff immediately until sunset, on the day of internment, to honor former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
This would later lead to perhaps Reagan’s most famous catch phrase “Just Say No”, which became an all-encompassing anti-drug campaign in the 1980s during her husband’s presidency.
But serving as adviser, counselor and protector of Ronald Reagan turned out to be her biggest role.

The public will be able to pay their respects and say goodbye to Nancy Reagan while she lies in repose Wednesday and Thursday.
