Enemkpali was listed behind Shaq Lawson on the Bills’ first official depth chart of the season, so it’s possible he would have seen a heavy dose of snaps until the rookie got himself back on the field.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that an MRI showed Enemkpali tore his ACL in the game. Enemkpali fell awkwardly on his knee with about 10-seconds left in the second quarter, and was carted off the field.

In what has becoming a disturbing trend, the Bills lost another linebacker for the season on Saturday. “But you know like I say, next man’s got to step up”. Veteran Manny Lawson remains out with a partially torn pectoral muscle. We have Lorenzo Alexander, who I feel really good about. “But he’s a very capable player.”? He had been taking most of the first-team reps at outside linebacker opposite Jerry Hughes during training camp.

The Bills signed Enemkpali last September 11, the same day he was suspended by the National Football League for the first four games of the season stemming from the incident in which he punched and broke the jaw of former New York Jets teammate quarterback Geno Smith. Enemkpali was released by the Jets and claimed off waivers by the Bills.
