Police have released CCTV footage of an alleged one-punch attack in Queensland’s north west.
Boyd Page was charged with grievous bodily harm after allegedly striking Ms Abdoo outside the Buffs Club in Mount Isa in the early hours of Saturday morning, after he was refused entry by a security guard.
Ms Abdoo was originally listed as in critical condition but she is recovering and her condition is now listed as “stable”.
A 28-year-old Parkside man has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
He appeared in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Monday and was granted bail on the condition that he not have contact with Ms Abdoo or attend any licensed premises.
Police allege that she was talking to the man’s wife when he delivered the “one-strike” attack.
The force of the impact can be seen to knock Abdoo to the ground, her head striking the concrete.
The video depicts the man punching Mrs Abdoo in the head before fleeing the scene.
She was flown to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition on Saturday afternoon for further treatment.

Her employers at the Buff Club released a media statement last night calling the incident a coward attack which would not be tolerated.
