MTV video debunks Donald Trump’s claim that Muslims celebrated after 9/11
I know Jeff is trying to put the best possible spin on Donald Trump’s claim that he saw on TV “thousands and thousands of Muslims” in New Jersey celebrating the attacks of September 11, 2001.

But Sliwa countered the clip was “edited” and that there were only “a handful of people” celebrating.
“You have to tell me because I know what they’re going to say, ‘Trump is a chicken, ‘” he said. ‘It was just so sad’.
In an email missive Monday, Katie McGinty’s campaign said Trump “has spent the last six months insulting women and minorities” and that anxious Republicans are running to trump after Democrats swept five statewide judicial elections last month.
Back in 2015, the new video made by MTV shows a totally different person, all grown-up, who doesn’t recall hearing anybody saying “Burn, America!”.
“Everyone that was out there, they were only 13, maybe 14 at the most”, Acevedo said in 2001.
Mr. Trump falls short in many areas that would be required from our President, but we can say that about others.
“It was a really terrific day”, he said.
MTV has now released the clip.
In an interview Tuesday morning, Rudy said that the city indeed looked into reports of people celebrating on 9/11 – and found some scattered cases totaling perhaps “10, 12 – 30, 40” people.
“I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt to see how the campaign unfolded”, Bush said. And then what he did to the video from MTV by editing it did a tremendous disservice. Trump claimed responsibility for forcing CNBC to shorten its debate, and the Republican Party as a whole slammed that network for the moderators’ supposedly biased questions. The reporter of that article has said he was unable to corroborate the claims at the time, and was drawn into a public spat with the billionaire, who appeared to mock the reporter’s disability.
But Trump’s supporters, who are active on social media, continue to insist that the images do exist and the celebrations did happen, despite local politicians and several media outlets disputing Trump’s claim. “What makes you love this country the way you do?”
Even though there were a lot of rumors regarding Muslims cheering after the 9/11 attacks, various news organizations tried to confirm these but failed.
