MTV VMAs to feature Kanye West, performance by Beyonce

It’s been nine years since she last performed at the VMAs, which ended up being a disappointing performance. “I love you”, she said.

Rihanna will not only be getting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at his Sunday’s MTV VMAs, but also she will be delivering the “holy crap” moment.

Who will take home tomorrow night’s biggest award? Before he debuted his music video for “Fade” on Sunday, West rambled onstage as the audience in New York City cheered him on. In preparation, we could check out some of her best tracks that has made her one of the most iconic music stars throughout the world. “All of my adult life I’ve looked up to her even though she’s younger than me”. “11 years later, they still know Rihanna as the one and only Rihanna”. And they tell me, don’t compare yourself to Steve Jobs, don’t compare yourself to Walt Disney, and my friend Sayaka [SP?] told me…

“My success-it started as my dream, but now my success is not my own”.

Rihanna performed multiple times, and Britney Spears knocked ’em dead with her first VMAs appearance since 2007. Not only did she lip sync, in typical fashion, she did so badly.

Britney Spears will take the stage with rapper G-Easy to perform her new single “Make Me“. The best male video nominees are West, Drake, the Weeknd, Bryson Tiller and Calvin Harris, whose nomination is for “This is What You Came For”, which he co-wrote with former girlfriend Swift.

“Thank you to my fans”. “Watching Beyonce live gave me goosebumps”, @JoeyGatto tweeted – um, agreed. “Have a lovely night”. But the Video Music Awards have always been about moments as much as trophies: Madonna kissing Britney Spears in 2003, Kanye West busting into Taylor Swift’s speech (which gave the world “I’ma let you finish”) in 2009, the culmination of a Nicki Minaj-Miley Cyrus feud (which gave the world “Miley, what’s good?”) a year ago. “I mean, I put Ray J in it bro!” he explained.

“Last week 22 people were murdered in Chicago”, Kanye said.

I know times for me, I sit down and talk to older like rich people, you know.
