Much cooler Thursday, showers possible

Expect a cold front to return the area to near normal highs with spotty showers or thunder.

We’ll see cooler conditions today in the Willamette Valley with the chance of passing showers this afternoon. Due to the extra cloud cover today it will be a cooler day with highs in the upper 60s.

Chilly temperatures will greet us Thursday morning as readings dip into the low 40s. Forecasters predict that there will also be a slight chance of thunderstorms Thursday and Friday in portions of the county. High temperatures on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 60s. This brings showers Saturday night through Sunday morning. Ahead of the front, we are expecting lots of sunshine with temperatures in the lower 70s. Daytime highs will climb into the low 80s throughout the afternoon. Highs of 83 and 85 are forecast Monday and Tuesday, with mostly sun Monday and partly sunny skies Tuesday. Temperatures will fall to highs in the 59-68 range with the coolest air working in from the northwest.
