The Bideford-born writer has gained praise from Mr Trump – who is seeking the Republican nomination for next year’s U.S. presidential election – for her “powerful writing on the UK’s Muslim problem”.

Mr Trump tweeted that he is postponing the trip, which had become problematic for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Speaking on Fox News, Trump explained, “I didn’t want to put him (Netanyahu) under pressure”, while recalling he had done a campaign ad for the Israeli leader. “They are so happy at what I’m doing”.
Trump, whose campaign has been marked by controversy from the beginning, stood by his anti-Muslim proposal on Tuesday, saying it was a temporary move in response to last week’s mass shooting in San Bernardino, California.
Trump is dominating the GOP pack with 35% support, according to the new poll.
Just the day before, the man he seeks to replace in the White House, President Barack Obama, in a speech to the nation, spoke of the “act of terrorism” that killed 14 people, but stressed that it was not “a war between America and Islam”.
Two thirds of poll respondents – including half of Republicans – said that the proposal goes against keeping with the tradition of the country’s founding principles.
Do you agree with Donald Trump and Katie Hopkins?
“Look, it’s very simple”.
Christie is polling second to Trump in New Hampshire, where along with three other early contest states, delegates can be awarded proportionally.
“But, my deal would be they treat me fairly and I’m going to treat them fairly”.

“I mean, did you ever hear of a Republican leading by 20 and 22 and 25 points, and all of a sudden I’m going to say ‘Oh, I’m going to return as an independent?’ It doesn’t work that way”.
