It happened near Broadway and Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant Tuesday morning.

The NYPD said 33 people were taken to the hospital to get checked out for possible overdose.

Officers were investigating which drugs may have been involved in the overdoses, but they believe K2 – also known as synthetic marijuana – is likely one of them.

The woman who called 911 to report the men smoking said they were vomiting and urinating.

“It was the first time I saw something like that”.

Of the K2 users taken to hospitals, at least 15 were admitted to Woodhall Medical Center and Wycoff Heights Medical Center to be closely monitored and have blood tests to rule out other underlying health issues, according to officials at the city Department of Health. “They were all spread out”.

Sources said it might have been caused by ingestion of K-2, which is a type of synthetic marijuana.

But while the mayor may believe NY is winning the war on K2, Bed-Stuy-where Tuesday’s overdoses took place-has reportedly reached epidemic levels of synthetic marijuana use. The site reported that stores in the area were selling the drug even though it was outlawed by the city in 2015. Investigations found that K2 was sold in bodegas and smoke shops.
