Multiple people have been stabbed in separate deadly attacks at the mall and a home in MA.

A man stabbed at least four people, killing two, in a double attack at a private home and a shopping mall in the USA state of MA before an off-duty security officer shot him dead, police said.
The man first attacked two people at a Taunton home and then drove his vehicle through the glass entrance of a Macy’s department store at the nearby Silver City Galleria mall at around 7 p.m. local time.
Officials say injuries to some of the victims in the attacks Tuesday may be life-threatening.
Nubia Pardy said she was at an appointment in the mall when she heard what sounded like a gun.
Reports indicated the suspect was shot by an off-duty police officer and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Taunton is about 40 miles south of Boston.
Witnesses told local television station WHDH-TV that they heard gunfire and saw people running from the shopping centre.
“There is no continuing threat to the public”, ensured Dave Procopio, a state police spokesman, according to Associated Press.
Investigators said an off-duty sheriff’s deputy fatally shot Darosa.
A motive for the attacks remains under investigation, but state police said they have found no evidence of a connection to terrorism.
