Mumbai girl Tarannum falls into sea while clicking selfie
In a tragic incident, a college girl has gone missing after falling into the sea while clicking a selfie. The Bandra police and also, therefore, are undertaking the recovery operation and the fire brigade reach the location.

The girl’s friend, who immediately jumped into the water to save her, is also reported to have drowned in the sea due to high tide.
Mumbai: A college girl student who fell into the swirling Arabian Sea while allegedly clicking selfies here on Saturday was untraced as well as a youth who jumped into the water to save the her, police said.
The incident occurred in the Bandstand area of Mumbai where the three girls aged between 18 and 19 years came for a picnic. According to the girl’s friends, they were taking selfies, standing on the rock, close to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL). However, the duo is believed to have been swept away in the high tide and has not been traced yet. They were standing 50 metres away from the shore when water rose. Unfortunately, one of the girls named Tarannum slipped and went inside the water. Our sagari boats are conducting the rescue operation with the help of fire brigade but it seems hard to trace them during high tide. As per reports, all the three girls are residents of Govandi. “Rescue operation to locate the two are on in full swing”, Mumbai Police spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Dhananjay Kulkarni said.

The trio were posing for pictures on the rocks on Bandstand when Ansari’s leg slipped and she fell into the water.
