They’ll appear on the show’s series premiere on Sept.r 22 on ABC. According to the AP report “They’re vowing to remain professional on their new prime-time comedy”. We will continue to work together on television (“The Muppets” Tuesdays 8/7c this fall on ABC) and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe.

“We are very appreciative of Kermit that we’ve got unprecedented access to what’s been going on in the personal lives of the characters and Kermit’s situation with Miss Piggy“, Prady said.
The tweet says that they will be “seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al”. The statements end with, “This is our only comment on this private matter”. “Thank you for your understanding”.

However, Miss Piggy revealed in an interview with Canadian Living that the priest had been defrocked and that the two never officially tied the knot. Of course Miss Piggy is distracted by Fillion’s ruggedly handsome looks and Washington can’t leave without a selfie with Kermit, but isn’t that how you’d react, too? After all there is ice cream to enjoy in Las Vegas as well.
As for how Miss Piggy will react to the news, he replied that he could not “concern himself with such things”. After all, star couples have split before and continued to work together.
