Murder suspect tries to take police officer’s gun while in custody
It all began when a police officer walked into an interrogation room where 23-year-old Thomas Robinson, a suspected murderer, was being held.

Additional officers responded during the struggle and while Robinson is heard in the video repeatedly shouting, “Kill me!” an officer deploys a Taser and subdued him.
The police officer quickly blocks Robinson from yanking the gun out of its holster and grapples with the suspect.
Robinson is accused of shooting a 17-year-old Reno Armstrong Junior dead, and also faces charges of drug possession and having a weapon under disability.
The officer manages to keep both hands on the holster as his colleagues run in and help.
The fight for the weapon lasted several seconds before one of police officers stunned Robinson with a stun gun.
It took less than one second for Robinson to get his hand from a resting position and onto the officer’s sidearm. “During the struggle, PO (James) Ball was struck in the face causing injuries to his lip and facial area”.
Because Robinson was caught on tape going for the officer’s gun, he could be facing attempted murder charges.
Take a look at the video and tell us what you think: should Robinson be charged with attempted murder for this?
