A murder suspect who allegedly escaped from a Florida courthouse while in police custody and eluded a manhunt for six days has been captured, authorities said.

On Sunday, BSO announced the arrest of four people that helped plan the escape. “He came out of the room and surrendered without incident”, Israel said.
The reward his safe return was also upped Wednesday to $50,000.
Jackson, one of the two charged Thursday, used a three-way calling technique to allow Resiles to communicate with others from jail using calls placed through her cellphone, according to the arrest report.
The drama first unfolded last Friday morning on the fourth floor of the downtown Broward Courthouse, where Resiles was supposed to attend a hearing on whether he will face the death penalty for the 2014 slaying of Jill Halliburton Su. He was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Her body was found, bound at the hands and feet and stabbed multiple times, in the bathtub of her home in Davie, Florida.
Prosecutors say Resiles killed Ms Halliburton Su during an attempted burglary and they filed papers earlier this year saying they planned to seek the death penalty.
Authorities search Regal Trace apartment complex for Dayonte Resiles after he escaped from the Broward County Courthouse, Friday, July 15, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Investigators say Friday’s escape was carefully planned by Resiles and his accomplices.
Stern told police she provided a bag with the change of clothes and also provided a auto that would be waiting for Resiles once he got outside.
Yesterday another jail inmate, Walter M. Hart III, 22, became the fifth person charged in connection with the escape. It says the video from a courthouse holding area shows Hart “work in concert with Resiles to begin to defeat the shackling system used to secure inmates”. Using his back to block deputies’ view, Hart unlatched and held up the waist chain.

The Sun Sentinel (http://goo.gl/ssFpu9) reports that the guard realized his key was missing in a courtroom Tuesday, just a day after Sheriff Scott Israel promised to tighten security at the Broward County Courthouse. When maximum security inmates are moved for hearings, a deputy will now remain with inmates before releasing them to an armed deputy, the sheriff’s office said.
