His mother, Mina, said Harrouff got into an argument with his father, Wade, and abruptly left the restaurant about 8:30 p.m. ET, according to the report.

The 19-year-old Harrouff was hospitalized following the attack, and authorities were not immediately sure if he would survive. He’s pictured walking through the restaurant wearing white shorts, a blue shirt and a red hat.

The American teenager accused of murdering a couple and attempting to bite the man’s face posted a series of freaky videos just days before the killings.

After a horrific attack in Florida, the family of the suspect is offering its condolences.

“The Harrouff family expresses their deepest sympathy for the pain and suffering caused by Austin Harrouff”.

He will be charged with attempted first-degree murder in the attack on Jeffrey Fisher. That means he faces the death penalty or life without parole if convicted. He was released from the hospital Thursday, the sheriff’s office said. The Harrouff family loves Austin as they know the Stevens and Mischcon families love John Stevens III and Michelle Mischon.

Harrouff was making grunting, growling “animal-like noises” at the scene and later gave investigators a false name, Snyder said.

Attorney Robert Watson, who said he’s representing Harrouff, told TC Palm (http://bit.ly/2b3AAkH) that the student’s parents saw “indications of odd and unusual behavior” in him recently, but he declined to elaborate on possible mental health issues.

Stevens’ son John Stevens IV tells the Sun Sentinel he wants prosecutors to seek the death penalty.

John Stevens IV said his father had been especially excited to attend his granddaughter’s baptism, before the brutal events that occurred Monday night.

Later in the evening, deputies responded to a call about a stabbing and found Harrouff in the driveway of a residence biting the face of a man he allegedly stabbed. Harrouff is now hospitalized in stable but critical condition due to injuries he suffered during the attack and while a neighbor and deputies were trying to subdue him.

Martin County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Trisha Kukuvka said Harrouff is conscious, but heavily sedated. Yet the Taser didn’t faze Harrouff, and neither did bites from a police dog who arrived with two more deputies, according to Snyder.

He tested negative for street drugs.

The use of powerful designer drug Bath Salts is said to be a factor in Harrouff’s deadly rage. “I want him to go through that process and to pay for what he did”.

“They were both just the nicest people you ever want to meet”, McNamara said.

Fisher told deputies that Mishcon and Stevens were still alive when he got there on Monday night, before being forced to flee after he was stabbed. He has since been released from the hospital.
