Muslims across Europe, US and gulf celebrating Eidul Azha today
The well-off Muslims sacrificed cattle, goats or other animals, keeping a portion for themselves and distributing the rest to friends, family and the needy, commemorating the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AH).

A munajat was held after the Eid congregation seeking a divine peace for the mankind, country’s progress and the unity of the Muslim ummah.
On the occasion, the people across the country will offer prayers in congregations and sacrifice animals in the name of Almighty Allah.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is in London on his way to New York offered Eid prayers at Regent Park along with Pakistani community.
The national flag would be flown atop government and non-government buildings and roadside poles to mark the festival.
Here is how they wished Eid-ul-Azha?
The celebrations will continue till Sunday, the third day of Eid.
Going by its years-long tradition, Masjid Qasim Ali Khan in Peshawar had announced to observe Eid-ul-Azha on Thursday, September 24 with the Saudi Arabia.
Civic authorities of different cities and towns have also made special arrangements for disposal of offals and other solid waste during three days of Eid.
The biggest congregation was held at Eidgah in the old city followed by Hazratbal shrine on the banks of the famous Dal Lake.
Millions of people, braving every conceivable discomfort on creaky and congested transport, have gone to their village homes to be with their near and dear ones and celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha.

Outlying city corporations and district and upazila administrations have drawn up similar programmes to celebrate Eid.
