“It was 14 years ago but I saw it on television, I saw clips and so did many other people, and many saw it in person”, Trump said.

The Trump campaign reportedly said the coalition of pastors would endorse the presidential candidate after their private meeting, but some of those religious leaders have spoken out and said Trump won’t get their endorsements. “I’m not going to take it back”, the billionaire businessman said.
TRUMP: It did happen in New Jersey, I have hundreds of people agreeing with me.
“Why wouldn’t it have taken place?” he said of a celebration there. “I’m telling you, I would never do it”.
“There are several things that has to be answered before we are really able to put all foots forward in our support behind Mr. Trump”, said Burns.
Then last week Trump tweeted out bogus crime statistics alleging that blacks commit the majority of homicides of both black and white people, which is false.
Trump said he is not the only one who remembers seeing the cheering Muslims, and that people have even been calling to back him up ever since he made the controversial 9/11 claim.
On Sunday he tweeted: “Will be meeting on Monday at Trump Tower with a large group of African American Pastors”.
‘You’re running for president of the United States. And many people saw it in person. Chairman Cook said the commission saw no reasons to challenge the declarations of candidacy for the presidential hopefuls in question.
Fact-checkers have debunked Trump’s claim. His evidence, such as it is, amounted to repeatedly saying “I saw it on television” and “so did many other people and many people saw it in person”. “I think probably it will be an endorsement by some”.
Trump has been courting the support of evangelical black clergy members as he works to broaden his appeal in a crowded Republican field. Bruce LeVell, who has served as party chairman in suburban Atlanta’s Gwinett County, announced his endorsement, drawing roars from Trump’s backers.
In the letter, they also expressed fear that the meeting would, “give Trump the appearance of legitimacy among those who follow your leadership and respect your position as clergy”.
Bush went on to describe Trump as misinformed at best, preying on people’s fears at worst; said he wasn’t a serious candidate for serious times; and called it “scary” to listen to him.

The video refers to viewers not caring about Trump talking about rounding up Hispanic immigrants or roughing up protesters who are black or making Muslims register in the U.S. because they might not be any of those three groups.
