In reality what he was saying is that we can be saved outside the body of Christ. Any mention of these, will close his/her mind and ears, in a heartbeat. Through repentance of sin, and an acknowledgement that Jesus is the Son of God, we can drink spiritual water that leads to a life that will never end. God Almighty, made the requirement (the penalty, the payment) of committing a sin, any sin, death! Each time we focus on other things other than our Lord Jesus we lose our grip on matters of the kingdom. And as so, he has all the attributes or characteristics of God. Wasn’t Jesus all about love?
So, from the beginning, God wanted to involve Africa in the plan of salvation of the world. After all, if Peter himself tried to talk Jesus out of accepting His mission, despite his intimate knowledge of the Lord, it’s no surprise our society rejects the ideas of self-surrender and sacrifice. What do you mean? This past week I heard someone extol salvation before, apart, and totally separate from baptism.
As our Lord Jesus stretched his hand to rescue Peter he queried him: “You of little faith!” It’s been wonderful to see our community come together and steward our natural resources so well. “And God said, let there be light; and there was light”. I could go on and on, but you get the point.

The Holy Ghost Fathers, a French missionary order, inspired your faith as a child. Jesus Christ became for us our protector from the almighty and the provider of our relationship with the Father.

For example, this is one of the most common scriptures in the Bible (Luke 5), and I fully understand what it means to “cast deeper”, but I had never thought of the alternatives Peter and his crew had.
