‘Shkodran and Arsenal have reached an agreement, the clubs now only have to agree on the fee, ‘ Bulut is quoted as saying by the Metro.
Shkodran Mustafi’s agent, Ali Bulut, has denied claims that his client’s move from Valencia to Arsenal has been all but agreed.
The 24-year-old centre-half was impressive during the Euro 2016 tournament for Germany, as well as being global teammates with playmaker Mesut Ozil and the injured Gunners captain Per Mertesacker.
Mustafi, who was previously on the books at Everton until 2012, has 12 caps for Germany and represented his country at Euro 2016.
“The only thing left now is for the teams to agree a transfer fee”.
To make matters even worse, Laurent Koscielny’s involvement in Euro 2016 with France does not allow him to return in time for Arsenal’s opening league game against Liverpool on Sunday. Arsene Wenger is desperate for defensive reinforcements following injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel, and could weigh out up to £30m on Mustafi.
Mustafi would be Arsenal’s fifth signing of the summer, as Takuma Asano, Kelechi Nwakali, Rob Holding have already signed for the Gunners.
The Germany global has won 12 caps for his country after establishing himself as a regular for his La Liga side since his transfer from Sampdoria in 2014.

Nacho Monreal and Mathieu Debuchy have both filled in at centre-half in the past and are more experienced options.
