Mutual decision sees CB Wesley Green leave Gamecocks
Steve Spurrier and G.A. Mangus are saying that nobody has separated themselves – they’re still installing packages at this point and aren’t close to pointing to a No. 1 guy – so each of the QBs is trying to make the most of his reps.

Steve Spurrier is bringing his best material to the media this season.
According to a report relayed by Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports, former 4-star recruit Wesley Green has left the South Carolina Gamecocks in order to pursue other opportunities. He had a little fun with the local media and told them all the things you would never hear a coach say during fall camp. “These guys, I don’t know if we’re going to be able to beat anybody this year. I think right now we’re all even, but that’s up to coach”, he said.
“Quarterbacks, they can’t hit the broad sign of a barn right now.”
I don’t know if we could hit the side of that practice facility right there.
Before the season, it seems like every coach is in love with their team.
“Receivers – they couldn’t catch a cold if it was the middle of February, dropping everything”.
“Gosh I wonder why they got grass stains all over their jerseys”.
