There is no official word on what any of this means, but 2016 is in fact the ten year anniversary of their record The Black Parade, which released October 23, 2006-a month after the September date posted today. If they do end up back on the road, it would mark the band’s first shows since their breakup in 2013. Within two hours of being released, the video got over 2 million views on Facebook alone.

In addition to the video, the group have also re-designed their website and released a new logo featuring a white cross surrounded by the letters “MCRX”.

My Chemical Romance are arguably most famous for their United Kingdom number one hit, Welcome to the Black Parade. Others have also noted that the band have deleted their original break-up tweet.

One fan wrote: “I’m literally the happiest person on Earth right now”, while a tweet from singer Bry read: “If My Chemical Romance really are coming back I’m doubling the thickness of my eyeliner and disowning my parents”.

This moved MCR fans to take to Twitter, with former emo kids feeling overjoyed and speculating theories about the band’s possible reunion.
