Mike Karas of Hawaii was hiking Yosemite National Park on September 1.at the same moment a mystery couple was in the midst of their wedding photos.

But Karas never got the couple’s names. The picture flawless moment was captured by amateur photographer Mike Karas who was hiking last Thursday at Taft Point when he snapped the picture.

Karas was tagged by someone in the comments section of his photo that Mack re-posted to her Instagram account. “She didn’t know how big exactly the story had become”.

‘He was just taking a sunset shot and we happened to wander into it, ‘ Mack added.

Responding to some negative feedback he’s received since the photo went viral, he said: “I am not, nor was I trying to upstage their photographer”.

Mike Karas, who has more than 14,400 followers on Instagram, was touring the park when he saw the bride and groom embracing on a rocky ledge during sunset.

“This special moment was caught by Mike Haras who we don’t know (at all)”, Mack said on her Instagram. He believes the couple was there with a photographer of their own, but he wants to make sure they get to see the images he took that day.

While they may be camera shy about their personal life, Mack was still excited to speak with Karas, the man who captured the breathtaking photo.

“It’s insane, though, some of the negative stuff people are saying”, he said. “‘Someone had mentioned maybe the couple was famous, hence the secrecy, but I didn’t think much of it”.
