Mystery newlyweds in Yosemite photo want to remain anonymous
Adventure-loving photog Mike Karas and his group were hiking through Yosemite Thursday when he spotted the scene up ahead.

She’s up close with someone who is possibly her groom in a romantic clinch. The sun set and the couple left. The picture flawless moment was captured at Yosemite.
“It was surreal”, he told NBC Bay Area.
“I believe their photographer got an unbelievable photo of them but they never got anything like this because they were over in the distance”, Karas said. “As much of an wonderful moment it was for me to capture, it was clearly an even more special moment in your life”.
Sunday marks the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attacks that left almost 3,000 people dead and 6,000 more injured.
Although some have voiced their belief that he staged the picture or has somehow stolen the thunder of the couple’s official snapper, he says both opinions are way off base.
And today, the internet is buzzing about the mystery couple that was photographed on the edge of Taft Point, high above Yosemite Valley.

“At the moment, the couple wishes to remain anonymous as they would like to share the day with friends and family first”, Mccutchan wrote to ABC7’s Instagram. “I didn’t think we would realistically find out who they were”.
