N.J. Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Hosting Annual Memorial Day Ceremony
“We want to honor our veterans and show what Memorial Day means to us”.

Darlene Stanford of Kindred Hospice says that they have been hosting a similar ceremony in Greenville for the past three years and “because the town square in Sulphur Springs is so appropriate”, they made a decision to hold the ceremony in Sulphur Srpings this year. Zelienople/Harmony The American Legion Post 474 will host services at 9 a.m. Monday at the Zelienople Cemetery, at the Harmony Square at 9:30 a.m. and at the Harmony Cemetery.
The event is organized by the town’s Memorial Day Committee, chaired by Blake Story.
Charles Warner | The Union Times The Union Memorial Ground in downtown Union will be the site of the American Legion Post 22’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Memorial Day this Monday.
This year’s ceremony will focus on commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.
Veterans, family, and friends came together to honor America’s fallen heroes.
The parade reforms on Pleasant Street Extension and proceeds down toward School Street to Hinckley Park for a wreath laying, gun salute and Taps.
For many Americans, Memorial Day also marks the beginning of the traditional summer holiday season. A ceremony will follow the parade at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial in Village Green Park on Hall Street.
The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial is located at 1 Memorial Lane, Holmdel, off exit 117 on the Garden State Parkway.
Prospect Hill Historic Cemetery: Commemoration of the Grand Army of the Republic members at 11 a.m. (music at 10:45 a.m.) at 3202 Parker St., Omaha.
Refreshments will be served to all school age children in the parade at Spiran Hall on School Street, and to all the adult marchers at Legion Hall on Beach Street.
Plymouth’s Memorial Day celebration starts today at 4 pm. At 11 a.m.at the Memorial Park on Main Street, a service will include a flyover by the Condor Aero Club from the Zelienople Airport.
