Naked Donald Trump hanging out in Capitol Hill today

Life-size statues of a naked Donald Trump, mocking the Republican presidential candidate, have popped up in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cleveland and Seattle.

Authorities removed the statue placed at Union Square by early afternoon on Thursday, according to social media. Playing off “The Emperor’s New Clothes“, each statue has a plaque at its base that says, “The Emperor Has No Balls”.

“These fleeting installations represent this fleeting nightmare and in the fall, it is our wish to look back and laugh at Donald Trump’s failed and delusional quest to obtain the presidency”, the statement reads.

“Like it or not, Trump is a larger-than-life figure in world culture at the moment”, an INDECLINE spokesman told The Post.

The job of conceptualizing and creating the statues fell to a man who goes by the name “Ginger”, a Las Vegas-based artist. “Looking back in history, that’s how those figures were memorialized and idolized in their time – with statues”.

“When the guys approached me, it was all because of my monster-making abilities”, he told The Washington Post, refusing to reveal his real name.

Anarchist collective INDECLINE appears to be behind the stunt; this video shows the statue getting constructed. But a statue depicting Donald Trump in his birthday suit has appeared in Hollywood-and we don’t think The Donald would appreciate its depiction of his, um, attributes.

The statue in Union Square is not the first public art piece in the Big Apple that’s poked fun at the billionaire. “Trump is just yet another monster, so it was absolutely in my wheelhouse to be able to create these monstrosities”.

Myces Garcia said the statue is ideal.

A third statue was spotted in Los Angeles outside of the Soap Plant & WACKO novelty shop.
