On Thursday morning, New Yorkers passing through Union Square stumbled across an unbelievable and terrifying sight-a life-size, full-colour statue of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, in the nude.

The statue soon became a focus for selfies in New York’s Union Square, before it was removed by the city’s parks department.
The life size statue has made an appearance across the nation including in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Seattle.

By early afternoon, workers from New York’s Department of Parks and Recreation had taken down the statue.
Five naked statues of the United States presidential candidate caused a stir when they popped up in cities across the U.S., drawing in large crowds of people.
A life-sized statue of Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump-completely in the buff-appeared overnight attracting plenty of attention from camera-wielding passersby.
“When the guys approached me, it was all because of my monster-making abilities”, he said to The Post, referring to INDECLINE members.
The sculptor, a Las Vegas based artist called Ginger, said the statues are as anatomically correct as possible.
They were put there by the artist collective INDECLINE.
“NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small”, parks spokesman Sam Biederman said.
That rage, he said, is one of the reasons he won’t mind seeing the statues destroyed by police or dismantled by angry Trump supporters like a silicone piñata.
Sadly the entertainment was short-lived as park wardens arrived to take the statue away just hours after its sudden appearance.

“I wanted him to be a little on the frowning side”. The collective also has spray-painted a US-Mexico border fence in Tijuana, Mexico, with an image of a gagged Trump.
