A 20-month-old girl was found alone on Holly Beach Tuesday morning, Cameron Parish Sheriff Ron Johnson said.

A couple have been arrested after leaving a baby on a beach for TWO hours while they went for a naked jog, police have said.
Police told KPLC that around 10:16 a.m. Tuesday they got reports of an infant alone on the beach.
Child protective services is investigating.
The child was placed into the custody of her grandparents. They were arrested for child desertion and obscenity. The baby was found two miles from a Ford Explorer, also abandoned, which was running at the time.

The married couple were found jogging naked on the beach 3-4 miles away from the spot where their daughter was discovered. I don’t know why she didn’t go to it (the water) except for God stopped her from doing it. That poor little girl out there, alone, mosquitos getting at her. I don’t understand.
