Police take down #Nakedman who caused 6-car #crash I-71, Blue Ash.
Martin then got out of his truck and began running down the highway until he was stopped by an off-duty high patrol trooper and a police officer. “He’s just kind of jogging”, a 911 caller told a dispatcher.
Martin, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, then climbed out of his smashed truck and fled “completely naked” along the highway, patrol officials said.
“He had his hands in the air and was yelling explicit language”, he added.
Investigators are looking into the possibility that drugs played a part in the six-vehicle crash.
Trooper Kyle Doebrich said Martin “seemed very irate”.
Six people were hurt, and all southbound lanes of Interstate 71 were closed for more than an hour near Interstate 275. Two people were flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
No items of clothing were found in his auto, and passing drivers reportedly offered the 44-year-old clothes as he legged it down the road.
Police said they didn’t find clothes in Martin’s vehicle or with him, thus they believed he wasn’t clothed at the time of the crash.
Martin’s bond was set at $550,000 straight bond for all charges.
