If the drug was involved in Tuesday’s incident, this would be likely the most spice ever seen in or around a Subway restaurant.
The woman’s destructive path through the green and yellow bedecked sandwich shop came to an end after police subdued her. Paramedics determined that she was possibly under the influence of spice.
Anchorage Police said they were called to the restaurant Tuesday night and arrived to find Abrell inside. Employees told police the suspect entered the restaurant and began “acting odd”. Police Sgt. Shaun Henry said it got much worse. She proceeded to wreak havoc on the store’s interior, breaking furniture, pulling down ceiling tiles and tossing around food, chairs and tables.
“She did a significant amount of damage and it’s gonna take awhile to fix the store”, Henry said. There were no customers inside at the time, but numerous employees were on duty. A number of employees were present, though, and witnessed the entire event.
