Narendra Modi a ‘coward’ and a ‘psycopath’: Arvind Kejriwal

The government on Friday challenged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to reveal the name of his source in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) who had informed him that the agency has been asked to target all those opposed to the NDA regime.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Principal Secretary Rajender Kumar was on Wednesday again questioned by the CBI in connection with a corruption case.

Calling Jaitley a “master of half truth and lovely lies”, Ashutosh had made certain fresh allegations against him and said the finance minister’s defence that there was no specific charges against him was “misleading”.

“It is clear now that (Finance Minister) Arun Jaitley misled Parliament saying that the CM’s (Kejriwal’s) office was not raided”.

Attacking Mr. Kejriwal for the language used by him against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of CBI searches on an officer in his secretariat, he said a state or UT by its “unacceptable conduct” can also be a threat to federalism.

Kumar was questioned by the CBI for about seven hours late last night after the probe agency sleuths raided his Delhi Secretariat office, triggering a political storm between Delhi government and the Centre. If the raid was not about the chief minister’s present term, why was the register seized? “The search-cum-seizure memo containing details of seized items will be produced before the competent court”, a CBI spokesperson said.

Sisodia alleged that parliament was taken for a ride by Jaitley.

The CM had also alleged searches were conducted because files pertaining to alleged corruption in DDCA involving Arun Jaitley is with the Delhi CMO.

The Aam Admi Party has cried foul over raids and has accused the Centre of shielding Jaitley in the DDCA scam. “Modi is a coward and psychopath”, he said in another tweet expressing his anger over the raids.

“The CBI also scrutinised files of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA)”. The agency, too, repeated its denials saying the office of the chief minister was “neither searched nor sealed”.

“Whatever party is ruling in the centre if it uses CBI against the opponent, how can it be independent?” he asked.
