Narendra Modi Crossed ‘Red Line’ by Talking About Balochistan
In a letter submitted by Indian envoy Gautam Bambawale to the Pakistan Foreign Ministry, Jaishankar stated that the talks should focus on five aspects of terrorism.

Kashmir has been divided between India and Pakistan since their independence from British rule in 1947.
Pakistan People’s Party Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, strongly reacted to the recent statement by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, with regard to the insurgency in Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The two neighbouring countries have been at each other’s throats for the last several weeks after India launched a new campaign to silence the Kashmir freedom movement.
Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri Thursday said separatists in Balochistan were being funded by India to disrupt peace in the province.
Swarup also slammed Pakistan for not allowing United Nations human rights team to visit PoK adding that it is as a message in itself.
Army spokesman Colonel Nitin N Joshi said the cause of death was being investigated, while police said Moonga was killed in a clash between the security forces and protesters.
All of this would require both Pakistan and India to step away from their intransigent positions on the Kashmir issue, and look towards brining in the Kashmiri people in the dialogue process.
“Problem is that the terrorism issue has become so central to the relationship that it makes the relationship hard to grow”, Jaishankar said in his address at the Foreign Correspondents Club here.
Referring to the Lahore Declaration of February 1999, he said then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had reiterated Pakistan’s determination to implement the Simla Agreement in letter and spirit.
“We’ve said that many times”.
“The Prime Minister strongly pleaded the case of Kashmir during General Assembly session a year ago and we will again forcefully raise the issue”, Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria had said earlier today.
Defying curfew and other restrictions, people came out of their houses in many areas and tried to march towards the United Nations office.
Bollywood actor Praesh Rawal tweeted: “Digvijay Singh ji calls J&K as “India occupied Kashmir”.

Zakaria said Pakistan had invited finance ministers of SAARC countries for the next week meeting but so far was waiting for confirmation on Arun Jaitley’s participation. He said confirmation from India was awaited.
