He added: “We could not understand why Narsingh would use anything which could hamper his career”. We are trying to convince them. NADA panel is helpful. The worldwide body told us that we could name a replacement in case Narsigh Yadav doesn’t get exonerated.

He will appear before a NADA panel on Wednesday in New Delhi for the final hearing. It has been adjourned till tomorrow.
The 26-year-old, who failed tests on both his A and B samples, claims his food was spiked with steroids by two fellow wrestlers.
The Wrestling Federation of India meanwhile named Parveen Rana as a replacement for Narsingh in the Rio squad, a move approved by the sport’s world governing body, United World Wrestling.
“I have always maintained that there has been a conspiracy against me”.
NADA’s director-general Navin Agarwal confirmed, without revealing the athlete’s name, that one more Rio-bound competitor had tested positive. I’m a man who is prepared to die for this country. “I have given a detailed complaint to the police”, Narsingh told reporters after filing his complaint.
“This is a conspiracy against me”.
They shouted “Narsingh bhai Zindabad” and demanded a CBI enquiry into the matter.
Singh, however, is still hopeful that Narsingh has a slim chance of participating in the quadrennial extravaganza, something which looks a distant possibility going by Sports Minister Vijay Goel’s comments.
Yadav said he was supported in his claim by the Indian Olympic Association and the Wrestling Federation of India.
If the “B” sample also tests positive, he will have to miss Rio Olympics beginning August 5, besides facing the prospect of being banned for four years under the new WADA Code. Though the food supplement which Narsingh was taking has subsequently been found to be clean.
Reports indicate the banned substance was methandienone, a strength and performance increasing anabolic steroid.
Narsingh, who earned the Rio quota after winning a World Championships bronze, was earlier picked ahead of double Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar.

Inderjeet, who won the gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships in 2015, told local television he had been informed of the failed test late on Monday and that all his earlier tests had been negative.
