Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm – Road to Boruto – Final Naruto Game?

This week, Bandai Namco announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 would get a new expansion that featured the son of the lead protagonist, Boruto. For new players who haven’t yet purchased Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, they can purchase a full-price version of the game that includes the original Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, multiple DLC packs and the Road to Boruto expansion.

Apart from the exciting new game play, the game will also introduce new characters from the film, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha confirmed.

In 2003, Bandai Namco teamed up with CyberConnect 2 to release Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, a fighting game utilizing the setting and characters of the popular Naruto manga and anime franchise.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” was released in February this year, and was well-received in the United States, being the fourth best-selling game upon its release. The game is still very profitable for Bandai. Players of the upcoming Shippuden expansion will get to play the Boruto character. Apparently planning to finish the series with a bang, a lot of effort was poured into the development of the “Road to Boruto” expansion of “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4“.

This upcoming Naruto Shippuden expansion is based on the Boruto movie released past year. “Road to Boruto” will come in both physical release and digital download version for “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4“.

A representative of the company spoke with Polygon and he revealed that even though “Road to Boruto” is an expansion, it still features “a huge volume of content”.

The $19.99 expansion will release February 3rd on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
