NASA Cracks Mars Mystery
After the announcement from the space agency, there are a few speculations, which stated that, NASA might be announcing, regarding the evidence it had, about the water on Mars.

NASA has used previous briefings to announce ground-breaking discoveries – such as in July when it revealed the existence of the Earth-life planet Kepler-452b, outside our solar system.
Also speaking will be Nasa heavy-weights Jim Green, the agency’s director of planetary science; Michael Meyer, the lead scientist for the Mars Exploration Programme; and Mary Beth Wilhelm from Nasa’s Ames Research Centre. It will be many months with other scientists testing and retesting that hypothesis before any certainty can be added to the theory. In a 2011 study, Ojha, along with his then professor McEwen, co-authored a study on how there is a chance that water lay beneath the surface.

Tune in to NASA TV, embedded below, at 11:30 a.m. EDT on Monday to catch the agency’s announcement.
A quick look at the research carried out by some of the brain boxes who will be participating in the news conference may offer some clues.
“It implies that there is some sort of heat source keeping the water liquefied and here on Earth, whenever you have heat and water, 100 percent of the time you have life”, Carberry said.
The orbiter seeks to rewind the planet’s geologic history back to the wet, warm epoch that might have spawned life.
“These new, high-resolution images are providing unprecedented views of layered materials, gullies, channels, and other science targets, in addition to characterizing possible future landing sites”, NASA officials wrote in a description of the HiRISE instrument. NASA chose to tease the public by issuing a press release promising big news about Mars at a Monday press conference.

The conference will be held at 9.30pm EST on Tuesday September 29 at the James Webb Auditorium at NASA Headquarters in Washington. On Reddit, some commenters think there really was a huge discovery, perhaps life or or even alien tech or alien plastic, but they chose to keep quiet about it.
