NASCAR announced exclusively via Facebook that, beginning in 2017, kids ages 12 and younger will be admitted free to all NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at Kentucky Speedway. Friday, qualifying (5:15 p.m., NBCSN).
Trevor Bayne: Another Chase “bubble” driver that, more than likely, has to find Victory Lane in the final three regular-season races to make the “playoffs”. The Pure Michigan 400 Sprint Cup race will start just after 2 p.m. ET Sunday at Michigan International Speedway. Justin Allgaier is third, one point ahead of Ty Dillon. There have been six different winners in the six previous Xfinity races at Road America: Carl Edwards (2010), Reed Sorenson (2011), Nelson Piquet Jr. (2012), AJ Allmendinger (2013), Brendan Gaughan (2014) and Paul Menard (2015). Chances are good since Brendan Gaughan of Richard Childress Racing is the only previous Road America victor entered in the race.

So I’m really curious to see how Hendrick Motorsports does Sunday.
