NASCAR Heat Evolution coming to game consoles in September

First teased past year when DMi Games obtained the NASCAR license, NASCAR Heat Evolution is being developed by Monster Games, who created NASCAR Heat and NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona. They’ve got NASCAR in their blood and on their track record as well as over a decade of experience making racing games.

NASCAR Heat Evolution will mark stock auto racing’s debut on current generation consoles.

Stock auto racing returns to consoles in September in a dedicated, fully licensed video game, NASCAR Heat Evolution, made by the same people behind the well remembered NASCAR Heat series from almost 15 years ago.

The game will feature drivers, teams and circuits from the competition thanks to the NASCAR licenses managed by Dusenberry Martin Racing and thanks to a deal with the competition that will run until 2020.

Additionally, the first Toyota driver to cross the finish line at this weekend’s 2016 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be on the cover of Heat Evolution.

NASCAR Heat Evolution will be available on September 13, 2016 in North America for the PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and Windows PC. In addition, if Matt DiBenedetto or David Ragan race their way into the All-Star event and somehow become the top-finishing Toyota, Dusenberry Martin Racing told USA TODAY Sports those underdogs would be placed on the cover as well.

DMR acquired the NASCAR license early a year ago; that deal runs through 2020, a news release said. While there have been some other NASCAR games recently of mediocre quality, the Heat series was generally well received.

Are you looking forward to a licensed NASCAR gaming coming to your console or PC?

The game will offer 23 tracks, and let players race as their favorite Sprint Cup Series driver, although a roster of drivers is not now available.

It’s a good week for NASCAR in racing games.

Dusenberry Martin Racing is a digital games publisher and developer focused on delivering fun and engaging NASCAR-branded games.

Fans that are ready to strap in and feel the adrenaline of a NASCAR racing experience have the opportunity to pre-order NASCAR Heat Evolution now at NASCARHeat.com, GameStop, Target.com, Walmart.com and the PlayStation®Store.
