Sunday, June 12 – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 race.
In 2016, RIR will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Night Race with the Last Race to Make The Chase Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday night, September 10.
In the future, schedules and actual placement of race dates are expected to be finalized and announced around the midpoint of the preceding season. “After readers of USA Today named us the “Best NASCAR track” this year, we can’t wait to welcome back all of our dedicated fans and sponsors next August”.
NASCAR will kick off the 2016 season against the new backdrop of a completely reimagined Daytona global Speedway.
“Among the goals that we set out to accomplish with our track partners was to provide consistency for race fans and the industry stakeholders”, said O’Donnell.
Additionally, the new sanction agreement will supply Atlanta Motor Speedway with a longer planning window and the stability to invest in a greater fan experience with an eye on in-venue amenities, greater community involvement and enhanced racing atmospheres.
NASCAR officials released the schedule for the Xfinity Series, which will run at the Magic Mile for the 26th straight year on Saturday, July 16. The 2016 DAYTONA 500 will be held on February 21 and will air live on FOX.
